How to Buy Electricity With a Blu Voucher

Running out of electricity is a pain. It always seems to happen at the worst times, like right in the middle of cooking dinner or during your favorite TV show. Luckily, buying prepaid electricity is easy, and you can even use a Blu Voucher to do it.
You can buy electricity with a Blu Voucher by purchasing a voucher from a participating store and then using the 16-digit PIN to pay for your electricity on the Blu Approved website or app. It’s a simple process that anyone can do.
How to Buy Electricity with a Blu Voucher
Here’s a step-by-step guide to buying electricity with a Blu Voucher:
1. Find a Blu Voucher vendor: You can buy Blu Vouchers at many stores, including Pick n Pay, Shoprite, and most petrol stations. You can also buy them online through your banking app. I usually grab one when I'm out doing my grocery shopping; it's super convenient.
2. Choose your voucher amount: Blu Vouchers come in various denominations, so you can choose the amount that best suits your needs.
3. Pay for your voucher: You'll receive a slip with a 16-digit PIN. Keep this safe, as you'll need it to redeem your voucher.
4. Visit the Blu Approved website or app: This is where you'll actually buy your electricity.
5. Enter your meter number and the amount of electricity you want to buy: Double-check that your meter number is correct to avoid any issues.
6. Select Blu Voucher as your payment method: You'll be prompted to enter the 16-digit PIN from your voucher.
7. Confirm your purchase: Once you've entered the PIN, your electricity token will be generated. You can then enter this token into your prepaid meter.
It’s as easy as that! I remember the first time I used a Blu Voucher to buy electricity. I was a bit hesitant, but the process was so quick and straightforward that I’ve been using it ever since.
Of course, you can also get free vouchers in South Africa in other ways. One of my favorite ways is by using the Points Castle app. You can earn points by completing surveys and playing games, and then redeem those points for a variety of vouchers. It's a great way to save money on everyday expenses like electricity.
