What is Bet Saver on Betway?

Have you ever placed a multi-bet, and just one team lets you down? It's a truly frustrating experience. I remember one Saturday afternoon, I had a 10-fold accumulator with some serious potential winnings. Nine out of the ten teams won, but the last team conceded a goal in the last minute, and my whole bet was gone. I was so mad I almost threw my phone against the wall! If only Betway's Bet Saver feature had been around then.

So, what exactly is Bet Saver? It's a feature on Betway that gives you a payout on your multi-bets, even if some of your selections lose. The payout you receive is based on your total odds, how much you bet, and the number of selections in your multi-bet. This is way better than the usual insurance offers where you only get your money back if one selection loses.

How Does Bet Saver Work?

It's actually quite simple. When you are creating your multi-bet, you will see a Bet Saver icon next to your selections. Once you have made all your selections, you can toggle the Bet Saver on or off. If you turn it on, a portion of your potential winnings will be set aside as a Bet Saver payout. This means your potential winnings will be slightly lower, but you are guaranteed a payout even if some of your selections lose.

Let's look at an example. Let's say you have a 5-fold accumulator with odds of 100/1 and you bet R10. Your potential winnings would be R1000. If you turn on Bet Saver, your potential winnings might be reduced to R800, but you will be guaranteed a payout of, say, R50 if one of your selections loses. This is just an example, the actual payout will depend on the odds and the number of selections. I once used the Bet Saver on a basketball accumulator. I had a 7-fold accumulator, and two of my selections lost. I thought my bet was a goner, but because I had the Bet Saver on, I still got a small payout. It wasn't much, but it was better than nothing!

The great thing about Bet Saver is that it gives you a second chance to win. We all know how unpredictable sports can be, so having that safety net is a huge advantage. It takes away some of the sting of losing a multi-bet because of one or two bad results.

Of course, using Bet Saver is completely optional. If you are feeling confident in your selections, you can leave it off and go for the maximum potential winnings. But if you want to play it a bit safer, then Bet Saver is a great option. If you need to top up your Betway account to try out this feature, you can learn how to put a voucher on Betway.

Speaking of vouchers, did you know you can earn free vouchers for things like airtime and OTT Vouchers by playing games and completing surveys on the Points Castle app? It's a great way to get some extra cash to use for your bets or anything else you want.
