Not receiving your referral points?

If you're not seeing the points you expected from a referral, here are a few common reasons why this might happen.

How to get referral points

For a successful referral, your friend must:

  • Create a new Points Castle account by clicking on the unique referral link you sent them.

That's it! 50 points should automatically be added to your account.

Why you might not have received your points

If you've checked your account and see 0 successful referrals, or you didn't receive your 50 referral points, one of the following reasons could be the cause:

The referral link didn't work

Sometimes the referral link may fail due to poor internet connectivity or the link breaking. Don't worry — your friend can still manually add your referral code by following these steps:

  1. Go to Profile
  2. Press Settings
  3. Select Add Referral Code and enter your unique referral code

NB: This option is only available for the first 7 days after your friend creates their Points Castle account.

Outdated app version

If you or your friend are using an outdated version of the Points Castle app, the referral system may not work correctly.

Both users must be on version 1.24.38 or newer.
Please update the app to the latest version to ensure referrals track correctly.
