How to Send Airtime on Telkom

This is probably the quickest and easiest way to send airtime. Here’s how you do it:

1. Dial \*180# from your Telkom number.

2. A menu will pop up on your screen. Select the "Transfer" option.

3. You'll then be asked to choose between "Airtime" and "Data." Select "Airtime."

4. Enter the phone number of the person you want to send airtime to.

5. Enter the amount of airtime you want to send.

6. You’ll be asked to confirm the transaction. Double-check the number and amount, and then confirm.

And that's it! The airtime will be sent to the other person's phone almost instantly. The first time I tried this, I was surprised at how quickly it worked. My friend received the airtime before I could even send a message to tell them it was on its way.

Using the Telkom Website

If you prefer to do things online, you can also send airtime through the Telkom website. Here's how:

1. Go to the Telkom transfer portal.

2. Enter your mobile number and the recipient's mobile number.

3. Select "Airtime" as the type of transfer.

4. Follow the prompts to complete the transfer.

This method is just as easy as using the USSD code, and it's a great option if you're already on your computer.
