How to Change My FNB Card Pin

It happens to the best of us. You're at the till, ready to pay, and your mind goes completely blank. What was my card PIN again? I remember standing in a queue once, holding up the line because I just couldn't remember my new PIN. It was so embarrassing! Luckily, changing your FNB card PIN is super easy and you don't even have to go into a branch.
The quickest and easiest way to change your FNB card PIN is by using the FNB Banking App on your smartphone. You just need to log in, navigate to the cards section, and you can set a new PIN in less than a minute. It’s a lifesaver when you're in a pinch.
How to Change Your FNB PIN on the App
If you've forgotten your PIN or just want to change it for security reasons, follow these simple steps. I had to do this recently after I thought someone might have seen me enter my PIN at an ATM. It gave me such peace of mind to change it right away from my phone.
Here’s how you do it:
1. Log in: Open your FNB App and log in with your credentials.
2. Select your card: On the home screen, tap on the card for which you want to change the PIN.
3. Go to 'Cards': Look for the 'Cards' option or icon and tap on it.
4. Choose 'Change PIN': You will see an option that says 'Change PIN'. Select it.
5. Enter your new PIN: Type in your new desired 4-digit PIN.
6. Confirm your new PIN: You'll be asked to enter the new PIN again to confirm it.
7. Confirm the change: The app will ask you to confirm the change. Once you do, your new PIN will be active immediately.
It’s really that simple. And if your card gets blocked from entering the wrong PIN too many times, you might need to know how to unblock your FNB card, which you can also do on the app.
While the app is the most convenient method, you can also change your PIN at any FNB ATM. Just insert your card, enter your current PIN, and then follow the on-screen options to change your PIN. This is a good option if you don't have the app or prefer using an ATM.
Managing bank cards and PINs is just one of those adult things we have to do. It's like remembering to buy groceries or pay bills. Speaking of bills, I've been using the Points Castle app to earn some extra vouchers. By doing surveys and playing games, I get points that I can exchange for vouchers from places like Takealot or even just get airtime. It’s a nice little way to treat myself without dipping into my savings.
